FAQ

How do I know which conveyor problem is affecting my site?

Many conveyor issues share overlapping symptoms — spillage, belt damage and roller failure can all stem from the same root cause. If you’re not sure where to start, our team can come onsite and conduct a conveyor health check to identify which problems are present and recommend the right combination of solutions.

What’s the difference between a “solution” and a “product” on this site?

A solution addresses a specific conveyor problem like belt edge sag or dust emissions and points you to the combination of products engineered to fix it. Products are the individual components themselves (belt cleaners, skirting, rollers, and so on).

Do these solutions apply to any conveyor, or only certain industries?

Kinder’s engineered solutions are used across mining, quarrying, agriculture, ports, and bulk materials handling more broadly. The underlying problems such as belt damage, spillage and misalignment are common to conveyor systems in general, so the solutions apply regardless of industry.

Can Kinder help if my problem isn’t listed here?

This page covers the most common conveyor issues we’re asked to solve, but it isn’t exhaustive. Our engineering team can assess less common or site-specific problems and recommend a tailored solution.

Do I need a full site audit before addressing one of these problems?

Not necessarily,  if you already know the problem you’re dealing with, you can go straight to the relevant solution and product range. A conveyor health check is most useful when you’re seeing multiple symptoms and want to identify the underlying cause before choosing a fix.
